THE GOAL OF THE ASSOCIATION IS TO RAISE AWARENESS ABOUT THE CRUCIAL ROLE PLAYED BY COMMUNITY-BASED MENTAL HEALTH CENTERS TO ENSURE PUBLIC SAFETY AND OVERALL PUBLIC HEALTH FOR ALL NH RESIDENTS. IN ADDITION, THE ASSOCIATION ADVOCATES FOR THE PRIORITIES OF OUR MEMBERS, WHICH INCLUDE THE SUSTAINABILITY OF A HIGH-QUALITY AND EFFECTIVE SYSTEM OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CARE IN EACH OF OUR NH COMMUNITIES SO THAT IT MAY IMPROVE THE SOCIAL WELFARE OF THE INDIVIDUALS IN THE STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE. THE ORGANIZATION'S REVENUE IS DERIVED MAINLY FROM MEMBERSHIP DUES.

NECPUC PROVIDES EDUCATION TO NE REGULATORS THROUGH EXCHANGING INFORMATION, STUDY PROGRAMS, & FORUMS.
