ASHEVILLE COMMUNITY YOGAS MISSION IS TO SERVE THE COMMUNITY BY OFFERING DONATION BASED YOGA, HEALTH SERVICES, AND COMMUNITY OUTREACH, WHILE INSPIRING OUR MEMBERS TO BRING THEIR YOGA OUT INTO THE WORLD IN THE FORM OF SELFLESS SERVICE. THE GENERAL PURPOSES OF THE CENTER ARE: 1) PROVIDE YOGA CLASSES TO THE COMMUNITY REGARDLESS OF ABILITY TO PAY 2) TO PROMOTE COMMUNITY AWARENESS OF THE VALUE OF YOGA 3) OFFER EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS TO STUDENTS 4) PROVIDE YOGA TEACHER TRAININGS.

The goal of this organization is to provide services relating to religion where a more specific code cannot be accurately assigned. Examples may include Unitarianism, Taoism, Sikhs, Zoroastrism, Atheism, Actualism, Theosophy, Bahaism and reference to miracles.

HOPE HARBOR HOME STRIVES TO BREAK THE CYCLE OF DOMESTIC AND SEXUAL VIOLENCE IN BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA.

PRESERVE AND PROVIDE AFFORDABLE HOUSING THROUGH HOME REPAIRS, RENOVATIONS AND NEW CONSTRUCTION FOR LOW-INCOME FAMILIES TO RESTORE DIGNITY AND HOPE.

SINCE ITS FOUNDING MORE THAN 90 YEARS AGO, THE DISABLED AMERICAN VETERANS DAV HAS BEEN DEDICATED TO A SINGLE PURPOSE. BUILDING BETTER LIVES FOR AMERICAS DISABLED VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES. FIDELITY TO THAT MISSION HAS REQUIRED DAV TO RESPOND CREATIVELY AND FLEXIBLY TO CHANGING AND SOMETIMES UNPREDICTABLE CHALLENGES FACED BY ITS CONSTITUENCY. WHETHER DISABLED VETERANS HAVE NEEDED A VOICE ON CAPITAL HILL, A NATIONWIDE SERVICE PROGRAM, A TRANSPORTATION NETWORK OR UNIQUE REHABILITION OPPORTUNITIES, DAV HAS FOCUSED ITS ATTENTION AND RESOURCES TO MEET THOSE NEEDS.

MISSION:

OUR MISSION IS TO BUILD SIMPLE, DECENT, AFFORDABLE HOUSING WITH LOW INCOME WORKING FAMILIES AND TO PROVIDE THEM WITH NO INTEREST, NO PROFIT MORTGAGES IN ORDER TO REPAY MOST OF OUR CONSTRUCTION COSTS. THE PAYMENTS THEY MAKE TO US ARE USED TO FUND FUTURE HOMES.

CRRA PROVIDES RESETTLEMENT SERVICES TO REFUGEES AND ASYLEES WHO FACED VIOLENCE, PERSECUTION, AND REPRESSION IN THEIR NATIVE COUNTRIES IN ORDER FOR THEM TO BECOME SELF-SUFFICIENT AND CONTRIBUTING MEMBERS OF SOCIETY.

THE INNOVATION PROJECT (TIP) BRINGS TOGETHER FORWARD-THINKING NORTH CAROLINA SCHOOL DISTRICT SUPERINTENDENTS TO FIND AND IMPLEMENT INNOVATIVE AND TRANSFORMATIVE PRACTICES IN PUBLIC EDUCATION SO THAT STUDENTS AND THEIR COMMUNITIES CAN THRIVE.

WE ARE A RECOVERY RESOURCE CENTER AND SOBER LIVING/RECOVERY HOUSE. WILL'S PLACE IS DESIGNED TO ACCOMMODATE MEN WHO HAVE BEEN THROUGH PRIMARY TREATMENT AND ARE LOOKING FOR A SOBER LIVING ENVIRONMENT AS THEY PROGRESS IN THEIR RECOVERY.
