THE PROJECT IS A NON-PROFIT CORPORATION ORGANIZED TO OPERATE APARTMENT COMPLEXES LOCATED IN HICKORY, NORTH CAROLINA. THE COMPLEXES ARE COMPRISED OF A TOTAL OF 311 UNITS. THE PROJECT IS A SINGLE ASSET ENTITY THAT OPERATES UNDER THE SECTION 8, PROJECT BASED RENTAL ASSISTANCE (PBRA) PROGRAM, AS MANAGED BY HUD MULTIFAMILY. THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR MANAGEMENT OF THE AFFAIRS OF THE PROJECT IS VESTED WITH ITS BOARD OF DIRECTORS.

THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF CATAWBA VALLEY BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE IS TO BE A DIRECT SERVICE PROVIDER FOR DEVELOPMENTALLY DISABLED AND/OR MENTALLY ILL ADULTS. DIRECT CLIENT SERVICES INCLUDE RESIDENTIAL GROUP HOME CARE, PSYCHIATRIC, MEDICAL AND OTHER OUTPATIENT FUNCTIONS, AS WELL AS LIFE SKILLS, INDEPENDENT LIVING AND VOCATIONAL TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES.

THE FOUNDATION'S MISSION IS TO FOSTER AND PROMOTE THE GROWTH, PROGRESS, AND GENERAL WELFARE OF CATAWBA VALLEY COMMUNITY COLLEGE. THE FOUNDATION PROVIDES A VEHICLE THROUGH WHICH ANY INDIVIDUAL OR ORGANIZATION MAY INVEST/PARTICIPATE IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF CATAWBA VALLEY COMMUNITY COLLEGE.

TO PROVIDE MEANS AND FACILITIES FOR ENTERTAINMENT, RECREATION, AND REFRESHMENT OF ITS MEMBERS, CREATE OPPORTUNITIES FOR SOCIAL INTERACTION FOR MEMBERS, THEIR GUESTS AND FAMILIES. ACTIVITIES INCLUDE GOLF, TENNIS, SWIMMING AND DINING.

The goal of this organization is to build, rehabilitate, manage and/or provide rental housing for low-income individuals and families, older adults and people with disabilities; or which make purchasable housing available to low or moderate income families by offering lower priced housing and/or affordable payment plans, by arranging for interest or mortgage subsidies or by involving eventual owners in the construction process (sweat equity).

TO PROVIDE CRISIS ASSISTANCE TO THOSE IN NEED THROUGH THE FOLLOWING PROGRAMS: FOOD PANTRY, FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, HEALTHCARE CENTER, AND THRIFT STORE

SAFE HARBOR PROVIDES A FAITH-BASED COMMUNITY FOR REBUILDING, RENEWING, AND RECOVERY. WE WORK TOGETHER WITH VOLUNTEERS AND OTHER NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS TO PROVIDE A WIDE RANGE OF SERVICES TO THOSE EXPERIENCING HOMELESSNESS, SINGLE MOTHERS, THOSE IN RECOVERY, AND OTHERS IN NEED.
