MISSION:

THE KIWANIS CLUB OF FLINT MI INC (EXEMPT UNDER IRC SEC 501 (C) (4) HAS CREATED AN ORGANIZATION KIWANIS HEALTH CAMP FOUNDATION INC (EXEMPT UNDER IRC SEC 501 (C) (3) FOR THE BENEFIT OF VARIOUS COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES. DURING THE YEAR THE KIWANIS HEALTH CAMP FOUNDATION INC UNDER THE SPONSORSHIP OF THE KIWANIS CLUB OF FLINT MI HAS SPONSORED VARIOUS FUND RAISERS THAT RECEIVE THE GENERAL SUPPORT OF THE RESIDENTS LIVING IN THE FLINT COMMUNITY. THE KIWANIS HEALTH CAMP FOUNDATION INC ALSO SOMETIMES RECEIVES CONTRIBUTIONS FROM VARIOUS KIWANIS MEMBERS AND FROM OTHERS INTERESTED IN THE ACTIVITIES OF THE KIWANIS CLUB. DURING THE YEAR THE KIWANIS HEALTH CAMP FOUNDATION INC PROVIDED FUNDS TO THE KIWANIS EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION, CHILDREN'S MIRACLE NETWORK, BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB OF GREATER FLINT AND VARIOUS OTHER ORGANIZATIONS. THE KIWANIS CLUB OF FLINT MI INC AND ITS MEMBERS RECEIVE NO REMUNERATION OF ANY KIND NOR DOES THE CLUB OR ITS MEMBERS RECEIVE ANY BENEFIT FROM THE ORGANIZATIONS THAT RECEIVE SUPPORTIN

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to preserve and protect water resources from indiscriminate waste and ensure that the supply of quality water is adequate to meet the needs of the public, agriculture and industry. Also included are organizations that preserve and manage coastal lands including shorelines, coastal waters and lands extending inland from the shore which affect coastal waters; bays, lakes, rivers, wetlands, estuaries, watersheds and other aquatic habitats.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to provide access to free or low-cost food products to children, seniors, or indigents by distributing groceries, providing meals, providing facilities for storing food or making available land on which people can grow their own produce.

MANAGE FIVE ADULT FOSTER CARE HOMES TO PROVIDE CARE FOR THE PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED AND MENTALLY IMPAIRED PERSONS. APPROXIMATELY 35-45 RESIDENTS

The goal of this organization is to provide opportunities for people to learn and become competitive in archery; fly or bait fishing; game bird, game fowl, or game animal hunting; fox hunting; and/or the use of firearms on the target range.

IRI FOCUSES ON CONDUCTING APPLIED RESEARCH THAT LEADS TO INSIGHTFUL, INNOVATIVE AND PROGRESSIVE SOLUTIONS FOR THE NEUROSCIENCES AND MEDICINE. THE INSTITUTE ORIGINATES AND COLLABORATES IN BIOMEDICAL RESEARCH PROJECTS, WHOSE PRIMARY GOALS MAY BE IN THE BASIC SCIENCES OR CLINICAL APPLICATIONS.
