Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.

THE MARYLAND FOOD BANK IS A NONPROFIT HUNGER-RELIEF ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO FEEDING PEOPLE, STRENGTHENING COMMUNITIES, AND ENDING HUNGER FOR MORE MARYLANDERS.THE MARYLAND FOOD BANK HAS RECEIVED SUBSTANTIAL FINANCIAL SUPPORT FROM BOTH PRIVATE AND PUBLIC SOURCES IN RESPONSE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC.
