IN FURTHERANCE OF THESE PURPOSES THE THE TREGO COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY MAY: SAID CORPORATION SHALL HAVE AUTHORITY TO OWN AND OPERATE MUSEUMS AND CONCESSIONS IN CONNECTION THEREWITH AND ACCEPT BEQUESTS FOR THE PRESERVATION OF THE TREGO COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY.TO EXPLORE AND PRESERVE HISTORICAL INFORMATION , FACTS, COLLECTIONS AND DOCUMENTS OF TREGO COUNTY.PROMOTE THE KNOWLEDGE AND APPRECIATION OF LOCAL, STATE AND NATIONAL HERITAGE THROUGH EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES.ENCOURAGE SHARING OF COLLECTIONS OF HISTORICAL ARTIFACTS AND ANY OTHER MATERIAL ILLUSTRATIVE OF THE HISTORY OF THIS AREA.
