UNDERSTANDING THE UNIQUE ECOLOGY OF THE EXTRAORDINARY INTER-MOUNTAIN WEST REGION AND EXPLORING THE WONDERS OF PLANT CULTIVATION AND CARE PROVIDE A MULTITUDE OF OPPORTUNITIES TO "CELEBRATE PLANTS AND INSPIRE PEOPLE."

THE FOUNDATIONS MISSION IS TO PROVIDE FUNDING FOR LEUKEMIA AND CANCER RESEARCH TO FIND A CURE FOR CANCER. THE FOUNDATION WORKS TOWARD ACCOMPLISHING THIS MISSION BY HOSTING TWO PRIMARY FUNDRAISING EVENTS. OUR TRADITIONAL EVENT, KNOWN AS THE IS KILLEBREW-THOMPSON MEMORIAL HELD EVERY AUGUST IN SUN VALLEY, IDAHO. IT INCLUDES A GOLF TOURNAMENT, AUCTION GALA, AND BENEFIT CONCERT. THE SECOND EVENT IS A ONE-DAY GOLF TOURNAMENT HELD IN MINNEAPOLIS CALLED SWING AT CANCER MINNESOTA.

The goal of this organization is to work to prevent, predict or control the effects of disasters (e.g. floods, earthquakes, fires, tornadoes), to educate or otherwise prepare individuals to cope with the effects of such disasters or to provide broad-based relief services to victims of such disasters.
