THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION IS TO CREATE OPPORTUNITIES FOR ARTISANS IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES TO EARN INCOME BY BRINGING THEIR PRODUCTS AND STORIES TO OUR MARKETS THROUGH LONG-TERM FAIR TRADING RELATIONSHIPS. THE ORGANIZATION SELLS MERCHANDISE, SUBSTANTIALLY ALL OF WHICH HAS BEEN HAND- CRAFTED BY PERSONS OF LOW-INCOME, IN ORDER TO PROVIDE INCREASED SELF- EMPLOYMENT AND A BETTER QUALITY OF LIFE FOR LOW-INCOME PERSONS AND THEIR FAMILIES. THE GOAL IS TO RAISE THE PUBLIC'S AWARENESS OF AND CONCERN FOR ECONOMIC JUSTICE FOR THE POOR IN IMPOVERISHED PARTS OF THE WORLD, AND FOR SUSTAINABLE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND APPROPRIATE TECHNOLOGY WHICH PROTECTS THE ENVIRONMENT.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization are the organizations whose members are business and professional men and/or women or other individuals who have a common interest in improving the life of the community, which conduct fund-raising events to finance community service projects. Many service clubs are chapters of national or international organizations.

TO EMPOWER IOWANS TO PARTICIPATE IN OUR DEMOCRACY BY REGISTERING TO VOTE, EDUCATING THEMSELVES ABOUT THE ISSUES, AND VOTING IN ALL ELECTIONS.

The goal of this organization are the organizations like chambers of commerce, business leagues and commercial trade associations whose members are businessmen and women and merchants who have affiliated for the purpose of promoting the general commercial interests of the community or the interests of their own trade. Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.
