Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.

THE LINN-MAR SCHOOL FOUNDATION RAISES AND DISTRIBUTES PRIVATE FUNDING IN SUPPORT OF K-12 CLASSROOMS, CURRICULUM, AND ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS IN THE LINN-MAR COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT. THEY ARE A PROUD PARTNER TO THE DISTRICT AND ARE DEDICATED TO HELP SUPPORT A QUALITY EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE FOR ALL STUDENTS AS WE WORK TOGETHER TO INSPIRE LEARNING, UNLOCK POTENTIAL, AND EMPOWER ACHIEVEMENT.

MEMBERS PARTICIPATE IN MULTIPLE EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES AND TRAINING REGARDING THE PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT OF PUBLIC SCHOOL EMPLOYEES CONDUCTING ACTIVITIES IN THE FIELD OF PUBLIC SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION.

THE ASSOCIATION JOINTLY SPONSORS THE TEAM AMERICA ROCKETRY CHALLENGE FOR PROMOTING SCIENTIFIC AND SPACE CAREERS FOR YOUNG PEOPLE, ALONG WITH OTHER ACTIVITIES THAT PROMOTE THE HOBBY.
