THE MUSEUM'S PURPOSE IS TO COLLECT, PRESERVE AND EXHIBIT MATERIALS THAT ILLUSTRATE THE STORY OF IOWA'S MILITARY PAST FROM STATEHOOD TO THE PRESENT. THE IOWA GOLD STAR MUSEUM HONORS THE HEROIC SERVICE OF ALL IOWA VETERANS.
