RAISE FUNDS TO MAKE GRANTS TO OTHER PUBLIC CHARITIES QUALIFIED UNDER IRC SECTION 501(C)(3).

PROVIDE GRANTS TO OTHER EXEMPT ORGANIZATIONS PROMOTING EDUCATION, SOCAL WELFARE, AND COMMUNITY NEEDS.

The goal of this organization are the private foundations that make grants based on charitable endowments. Because of their endowments, they are focused primarily on grantmaking and generally do not actively raise funds or seek public financial support. These are the most common type of private foundation. They are generally endowed, usually from a single individual or family. Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.

THE GREATER COLUMBUS HEALTH FOUNDATION'S (THE "FOUNDATION")PRIMARY EXEMPT PURPOSE IS TO ASSIST, ADVANCE, AND STRENGTHEN THE MEDICAL COMMUNITY OF COLUMBUS, GA IN ITS MISSION OF HEALING, IN ITS SERVICE AS A HEALTH RESOURCE FOR THE COMMUNITY, IN ITS PROVISION OF EDUCATION FOR STUDENTS IN VARIOUS HEALTHCARE RELATED FIELDS, AND IN ALL RELATED HEALTH AND HUMANITARIAN ENDEAVORS. RESOURCES GO TOWARD CARING FOR LIFE, EDUCATING PATIENTS AND CAREGIVERS, PROMOTING HEALTHY LIVING, ADDRESSING COMMUNITY HEALTH NEEDS AND PROVIDING COMPASSIONATE CARE FOR ALL PATIENTS.

PROPAGATE THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST THROUGH PREACHING AT ESTABLISHED CHURCHES; ESTABLISHING NEW CHURCHS, CHRISTIAN SCHOOLS, AND ORPHANAGES; SUPPORTING FOREIGN MISSIONARY OUT-REACH; PROVIDE TRAINING FOR PASTORS AND LAY-PERSONS

THE CENTER ACHIEVES DAY AND EMPLOYMENT SERVICES, PERSONAL LIVING AND RESIDENTIAL SUPPORT AND FAMILY SUPPORT FOR THE DEVELOPMENTALLY OR INTELLECTUALLY CHALLENGED CITIZENS OF THOMAS AND GRADY COUNTIES OF GEORGIA.
