THE ULTIMATE GOAL AND MISSION IS TO INSPIRE AND ENABLE BOTH THE YOUNG AND OLD DISADVANTAGED PERSONS, ESPECIALLY THOSE IN NEED OF ACADEMIC AND HEALTH ASSISTANCE, TO RECEIVE HELP TO THE EXTENT THEY CAN REACH THEIR FULL POTENTIAL AS PRODUCTIVE, CARING, RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS. THESE GOALS ARE TO BE MET THROUGH THE FOLLOWING PROGRAMS: TUTORIAL ACADEMIC PROGRAM, WELFARE TO WORK PROGRAM AND HEALTH AWARENESS PROGRAM.

TO PROMOTE EDUCATION AWARENESS OF THE HISTORY AND IMPORTANCE OF THE SPRINGFIELD VILLAGE AND SPRINGFIELD BAPTIST CHURCH IN THE HISTORY OF AUGUSTA AND THE UNITED STATES.

THE MISSION OF THE NDLSF IS TO ACHIEVE AND PROMOTE WORLD-WIDE EXCELLENCE IN EDUCATION, TRAINING, RESEARCH AND RESPONSE RELATED TO DISASTER MEDICINE AND PUBLIC HEALTH PREPAREDNESS BASED ON COMPETENCY-BASED EDUCATIONAL PRINCIPLES, SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE AND THE BEST CLINICAL AND PUBLIC HEALTH PRACTICES.
