TO CREATE PERMANENTLY AFFORDABLE HOUSING OPPORTUNITIES FOR LOW AND MODERATE INCOME INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES. CHT WORKS WITH PUBLIC, PRIVATE, AND OTHER NON-PROFIT GROUPS AND PARTNERS WITH FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS AND GREAT SOURCES TO INCREASE THE SUPPLY OF AFFORABLE HOMES.

MISSION:

THE FLORIDA CENTER SUPPORTS THE HEALTHY DEVELOPMENT OF YOUNG CHILDREN, SPECIALIZING IN THOSE WITH DELAYS, DISABILITIES OR MENTAL HEALTH CHALLENGES. OUR MISSION- "TO HELP BUILD AND FOSTER STRONG FAMILIES AND EXPAND THE POTENTIAL OF YOUNG CHILDREN". WE ENVISION A TIME WHEN EVERY CHILD WILL BE LOVED, NURTURED AND ENCOURAGED TO REACH THEIR FULL POTENTIAL. CHILDREN FROM BIRTH THROUGH TEN YEARS OLD IN SARASOTA, CHARLOTTE, MANATEE, DESOTO AND HARDEE COUNTIES CAN RECEIVE EARLY EDUCATION AND THERAPEUTIC SERVICES. SERVICES INCLUDE MENTAL HEALTH THERAPY, SPEECH AND OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIES, BEHAVIORAL SUPPORT, INCLUSION-MODEL PRESCHOOL, IN-HOME PARENTING SUPPORT AND FLORIDA'S ONLY FETAL ALCOHOL SPECTRUM DISORDERS DIAGNOSTIC CLINIC (AVAILABLE STATEWIDE).

THE ACADEMY AT GLENGARY IS AN ACCREDITED PROGRAM OF CLUBHOUSE INTERNATIONAL, AND PART OF A WORLDWIDE NETWORK OF REHABILITATION FACILITIES THAT PROVIDES VOCATIONAL AND PSYCHOSOCIAL REHABILITATION TO ADULTS, 18 YEARS AND OLDER, LIVING WITH MENTAL ILLNESSES. CLIENTS, CORRECTLY REFERRED TO AS "MEMBERS" ARE PROVIDED WITH OPPORTUNITIES FOR WELLNESS, SOCIALIZATION, COMMUNITY REINTEGRATION, VOCATIONAL TRAINING, EDUCATION AND EMPLOYMENT IN A CARING AND SUPPORTIVE ENVIRONMENT - SO THEY CAN PARTICIPATE FULLY AS VALUED AND PRODUCTIVE MEMBERS OF SOCIETY.

TO PROVIDE CLUB FACILITIES, SAILING INSTRUCTION, BOAT STORAGE, LAUNCH ACCESS AND RAMPS/HOISTS FOR APPROXIMATELY 747 FAMILY MEMBERS.

THE PURPOSE OF THE CLUB IS TO PROVIDE MEMBERS WITH THE USE AND ENJOYMENT OF RECREATIONAL FACILITIES. FACILITIES INCLUDE 8 TENNIS COURTS, SWIMMING POOL, A FITNESS EQUIPMENT BUILDING, TWO SOCIAL CLUBHOUSES AND A PRO SHOP/ADMIN BUILDING ALL AVAILABLE DAILY TO MEMBERS
