FRIENDS OF LAUREL HOUSE, INC WAS FORMED AS A SUPPORTING ORGANIZATION TO LAUREL HOUSE, INC. LAUREL HOUSE ACTIVITIES INCLUDE PSYCHOSOCIAL REHABILITATION, SUPPORTIVE HOUSING AND, EMPLOYMENT PLACEMENT AND EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT PROGRAMS.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization are the private foundations that make grants based on charitable endowments. Because of their endowments, they are focused primarily on grantmaking and generally do not actively raise funds or seek public financial support. These are the most common type of private foundation. They are generally endowed, usually from a single individual or family. Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.

MISSION:

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE CRISIS CENTER'S MISSION IS TO PROVIDE EFFECTIVE SERVICES, SUPPORT, AND EDUCATION FOR THE PREVENTION AND ELIMINATION OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ACROSS THE CONNECTICUT COMMUNITIES OF STAMFORD, NORWALK, DARIEN, NEW CANAAN, WESTON, WESTPORT, WILTON, AND BEYOND. IN FY 2022, DVCC PROVIDED SERVICES TO 3,865 DOMESTIC VIOLENCE VICTIMS AND THEIR CHILDREN IN THE TOWNS WE SERVE.

FUTURE 5, INC. HELPS MOTIVATED, UNDER-RESOURCED STUDENTS IN STAMFORD, CT CONNECT TO THEIR FULL POTENTIAL LEADING TO INDEPENDENCE AND PRODUCTIVE CITIZENSHIP.

WE FOSTER JEWISH UNDERSTANDING, STRENGTHEN JEWISH IDENTITY AND INSPIRE JEWISH COMMITMENT AMONG BOTH INVOLVED AND UNENGAGED JEWS, AS WELL AS INTERESTED NON-JEWS. JBS, THE JEWISH BROADCASTING SERVICE, IS AMERICA'S JEWISH NON-PROFIT TELEVISION NETWORK COVERING THE PANORAMA OF JEWISH LIFE. PROGRAMS ON JBS REFLECT AND ADDRESS THE DIVERSITY AND PLURALISM OF THE JEWISH EXPERIENCE. THE SERVICE DOES NOT REPRESENT ANY SPECIFIC MOVEMENT OR ORGANIZATION IN THE JEWISH COMMUNITY. JBS IS DIRECTED TO EVERY JEWISH PERSON WITH A SENSE OF JEWISH IDENTITY, AND FOR MEMBERS OF THE JEWISH COMMUNITY SEEKING THEIR ROOTS. TELEVISED OFFERINGS ARE ALSO FOR ANYONE WITH A PASSION FOR LEARNING AND A DESIRE TO GAIN A GREATER UNDERSTANDING OF JEWISH TRADITION, JEWISH LIFE, AND THE LAND OF ISRAEL.

(THE ORGANIZATION") HELPS RAISE FUNDS AND COLLABORATES WITH INDIVIDUALS AND ORGANIZATIONS TO: PRESERVE AND PUBLICLY DISPLAY VETERAN MEMORIALS, EDUCATE THE PUBLIC REGARDING MILITARY VETERAN HISTORY, SUPPORT A SAFE AND ATTRACTIVE HUB FOR PUBLIC GATHERINGS AND TO PERFORM ENHANCEMENTS IN VETERANS MEMORIAL PARK.
