THE ORGANIZATION'S PRIMARY PURPOSE IS TO PRESERVE LAND AS OPEN SPACE AND TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ABOUT OPEN SPACE AND NATURAL SURROUNDINGS. THE ORGANIZATION WORKS INDIVIDUALLY AND IN PARTNERSHIP WITH OTHER SIMILAR ORGANIZATIONS TO ACQUIRE LAND FOR PRESERVATION. THE ORGANIZATION HOSTS SEVERAL EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS EACH YEAR THAT SUPPORT THE MISSION.

ACQUIRING, HOLDING AND PRESERVING ARTIFACTS, RELICS, BUILDINGS, AND RECORDS OF ALL KINDS RELATING TO LOCAL HISTORY.
