MISSION:

THE JEWISH FEDERATION OF GREATER SANTA BARBARA IS DEDICATED TO BUILDING A VIBRANT AND INCLUSIVE LOCAL JEWISH COMMUNITY, TO ENHANCING THE WELL BEING OF JEWS IN SANTA BARBARA, ISRAEL, AND THROUGHOUT THE WORLD, AND TO STRENGTHENING THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE JEWISH COMMUNITY AND THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE.

THE FUNCTION OF THE ASSOCIATED STUDENTS IS TO SUPPORT THE STUDENT BODY OF THE UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA SANTA BARBARA. THE SUPPORT INCLUDES MANY PROGRAMS, SUCH AS THOSE LISTED IN PART III.

WILDLIFE CARE NETWORK REHABILITATES ABOUT 3,000 BIRDS, REPTILES, AND SMALL MAMMALS ANNUALLY FOR RETURN TO NATURE HABITAT, FIELDS ABOUT 10,000 CALLS PER YEAR FROM PEOPLE WITH WILDLIFE CONCERNS, AND PROVIDES EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH.

TO CHANGE BUSINESS LEADERS CONSCIOUSNESS FROM SELF SERVICE TO SERVANT LEADERSHIP. TO CHANGE THE CONSCIOUSNESS OF YOUNG PEOPLE ENTERING BUSINESS, PARTICULARILY TO SEE THEMSELVES AS ENTERING A NOBLE PROFESSION, NOT A JUNGLE. TO CHANGE THE CONSCIOUSNESS OF THE PUBLIC AT LARGE.

TO BRING HIGH QUALITY CLASSICAL MUSICIANS FROM AROUND THE GLOBE TO THE SANTA BARBARA AREA TO PERFORM ORCHESTRAL, VOCAL, SOLO INSTRUMENTAL, AND CHAMBER CONCERTS.

ELINGS PARK IS THE LARGEST RECREATIONAL COMPLEX IN SANTA BARBARA PROVIDING OUTDOOR RECREATIONAL NEEDS AND CREATING A HEALTHIER AND MORE VIBRANT COMMUNITY. THE FOUNDATION MAINTAINS 230 ACRES, PROVIDING OPEN SPACE, GARDENS, SPECIAL EVENT VENUES AND RECREATIONAL FACILITIES IN AN EXCEPTIONAL SETTING FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY.

THE HOUSING TRUST FUNDS MISSION IS TO PROVIDE AFFORDABLE HOUSING OPPORTUNITIES TO LOW, MODERATE, AND MIDDLE INCOME RESIDENTS OF SANTA BARBARA COUNTY.

SBIFF'S MISSION IS TO ENGAGE, ENRICH, AND INSPIRE PEOPLE THROUGH THE POWER OF FILM. SBIFF CELEBRATES THE ART OF CINEMA AND PROVIDES IMPACTFUL EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCES FOR THEIR LOCAL, NATIONAL, AND GLOBAL COMMUNITIES.
