[Many of these are found in section 501(c)(6) business leagues; and 501(c)(6) chambers of commerce.]

MISSION:

MENTORING PROGRAM FOR GANG INVOLVED YOUTH. TO PROVIDE SUPPORT TO THEIR SIBLINGS AND FAMILIES BY HELPING THEM REACH THEIR GOALS AND EXPANDING SOCIAL NETWORKS AND LIFE EXPERIENCES, FOLLOWED BY DEVELOPING CAREER SKILLS TO SUSTAIN THEIR INDIVIDUAL PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT. ALSO, TO GIVE THE YOUTH THE TOOLS AND EDUCATION THEY NEED TO RESTORE THEMSELVES TO BE ABLE TO MAINTAIN HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS.

Includes organizations that partner parents, families, schools, business and/or community leaders to broker resources for the benefit of local schools.

SAN DIEGO WRITERS, INK NURTURES WRITERS AND FOSTERS A LITERARY COMMUNITY BY: SERVING AS A HUB FOR THE LITERARY COMMUNITY, PROMOTING LITERATURE, PROVIDING ARTISTIC DEVELOPMENT FOR WRITERS AT ALL LEVELS, AND FACILITATING ARTISTIC COLLABORATION.
