THE MARIN SCHOOL OF THE ARTS FOUNDATION PROVIDES RESOURCES AND FUNDING, BEYOND WHAT IS FINANCED BY THE PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT, TO SUPPORT, ENHANCE AND SUSTAIN THE QUALITY OF EDUCATION FOR ALL MARIN SCHOOL OF THE ARTS STUDENTS.

PRIMARY MISSION IS TO CLOSE THE GAP BETWEEN CALIFORNIA'S PROGRESSIVE VALUES AND ITS OUTCOMES BY ADVOCATING FOR AND SUPPORTING EFFECTIVE AND DEMOCRATICALLY RESPONSIVE GOVERNMENT.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to build, rehabilitate, manage and/or provide rental housing for low-income individuals and families, older adults and people with disabilities; or which make purchasable housing available to low or moderate income families by offering lower priced housing and/or affordable payment plans, by arranging for interest or mortgage subsidies or by involving eventual owners in the construction process (sweat equity).

JOURNEYS SUPPORTED LIVING SERVICES PROVIDES SUPPORT TO DEVELOPMENTALLY DISABLED ADULTS SO THEY CAN LIVE SAFELY IN THEIR HOMES AND BE PRODUCTIVE MEMBERS OF THEIR COMMUNITY.

THE SAN MARIN ALL SPORTS BOOSTERS CLUB (SPORTS BOOSTERS) PROVIDES A VENUE FOR PARENTS OF SAN MARIN HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS AND INTERESTED COMMUNITY MEMBERS TO SUPPORT THE HIGH SCHOOL'S ATHLETIC TEAMS.

FUNDS RAISED BY THE FOUNDATION ARE DISTRIBUTED TO THE NOVATO UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT (NUSD) TO SUPPORT PROGRAMS DEEMED MOST CRITICAL ON AN ANNUAL BASIS. THE FOUNDATION'S FYE 08/31/21 CONTRIBUTION TO NUSD WILL BE USED BY THE DISTRICT FOR THE 2021/2022 SCHOOL YEAR.

TO RAISE MONEY TO DISTRIBUTE TO LOCAL CHARITIES, SCHOOLS, GRANT COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS TO WORTHY HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS, AND PROVIDE COUNSELING AND MENTORING FOR TROUBLED HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS.
