THE NOVATO ROTARY ENDOWMENT'S PURPOSE IS TO RECEIVE AND INVEST CONTRIBUTIONS OF MONEY OR PROPERTY AND APPLY THE INCOME TO CHARITABLE, OR EDUCATIONAL PROJECTS AND PROGRAMS THAT HAVE BEEN APPROVED BY THE NOVATO ROTARY CLUB BOARD OF DIRECTORS.

MISSION:

ADVANCING YOUNG PEOPLE FROM POVERTY TO EMPOWERMENT IS THE PRIMARY FOCUS OF AAM FOUNDATION. THE SCHOOL'S PRIMARY CHARITABLE ACTIVITY IS EDUCATION AND ALLEVIATING POVERTY. THE SCHOOL PROVIDES FORMAL INSTRUCTION AND IS FREE TO ALL STUDENTS WHO ATTEND. THE SCHOOL IS A ONE-YEAR INTENSIVE SECONDARY AND POST-SECONDARY EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM DESIGNED FOR YOUTH BETWEEN THE AGES OF 15 TO 27 YEARS OF AGE. THE CURRICULUM OF THE SCHOOL FOCUSES ON BUILDING SKILLS THAT WILL SUPPORT YOUTH IN SECURING STABLE EMPLOYMENT. THESE INCLUDE ENGLISH LANGUAGE SKILLS AND BASIC BUSINESS SKILLS. THE SCHOOL ALSO MAINTAINS A ROBUST MENTOR PROGRAM TO FURTHER SUPPORT THE SUCCESS OF ITS STUDENTS.

TRUMBULL MANOR OWNS AND OPERATES A RETREAT CENTER AT 50 RICA VISTA, NOVATO, CA FOR RETREATS, CLASSES AND SEMINARS ON CHARACTER FORMATION, PHILOSOPHY, THEOLOGY AND PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT IN COLLABORATION WITH THE PERSONAL PRELATURE OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH, OPUS DEI, WHICH PROVIDES TEACHERS, COUNSELORS, ETC. FOR ACTIVITIES.

TO PROVIDE ELDERLY AND HANDICAPPED PERSONS WITH LOW INCOME HOUSING FACILITIES AND SERVICES SPECIALLY DESIGNED TO MEET THEIR PHYSICAL, SOCIAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL NEEDS.

THE PURPOSES OF THE CORPORATION ARE CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL, EACH WITHIN THE MEANING OF SECTION 501(C)(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE OF 1986 (OR ANY CORRESPONDING PROVISION(S) OF ANY FUTURE UNITED STATES INTERNAL REVENUE LAW) AND SECTION 23701D OF THE CALIFORNIA REVENUE AND TAXATION CODE (OR ANY CORRESPONDING PROVISION(S) OF ANY FUTURE CALIFORNIA INTERNAL REVENUE LAW). IN THE CONTEXT OF THESE GENERAL PURPOSES, THE CORPORATION SHALL IMPROVE THE CONDITIONS OF THE PUBLIC REALM OF THE GREATER MID-MARKET AREA IN SAN FRANCISCO, CA, AND TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO THE POOR AND DISADVANTAGED IN THAT COMMUNITY.
