IN 2022, WE RE-OPENED OUR POPULAR IN PERSON SUMMER CAMP FOR KIDS AGED 7-13. EACH SEASON OF SUMMER CAMPS HAD ITS OWN THEME THAT FOCUSED ON TEACHING YOUTH ABOUT JAPANESE CULTURE THROUGH ENGAGING GAMES AND ACTIVITIES. IN 2021, WE HOSTED VIRTUAL SUMMER CAMPS THAT EXPLORED JAPANESE AMERICAN VALUES, CULTURE, AND TRADITIONS, IN ADDITION TO THE UNLAWFUL INCARCERATION OF JAPANESE AMERICAN CITIZENS DURING WWII. IN 2022, OUR IN PERSON SESSION WAS MATSURI (FESTIVAL) THEMED.DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, KIZUNA CREATED SEVERAL NEW PROGRAMS TO ENGAGE THE COMMUNITY VIRTUALLY. KIZUNA HOSTED VIRTUAL STORYBOOK READINGS TO TEACH JAPANESE AMERICA AND ASIAN AMERICAN STORIES, CULTURE, AND LESSONS AND ENGAGE OUR AUDIENCE WHERE THEY WERE.ADDI

SANATE DOR IS A NO-KILL ANIMAL ADOPTION CENTER SERVING THE LOS ANGELES COMMUNITY, PREDOMINANTLY STAFFED BY VOLUNTEERS.

The goal of this organization is to provide supportive services for crime victims which may include crisis counseling, medical services, escort services, transportation, child care, financial assistance, protective services, information about the mechanics of court proceedings, assistance with forms to file for reimbursement of crime-related expenses or losses, and/or advice and guidance concerning court appearances.

GLOBAL FILM CONNECT IS A NONPROFIT POST-GRADUATE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM FOCUSING ON BRIDGING THE GAP BETWEEN ACADEMIA AND THE PROFESSIONAL FILM INDUSTRY. THE ORGANIZATION EDUCATES AND SUPPORTS STUDENTS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF SKILLS NEEDED TO GET PROFESSIONAL WORK IN THE FILM TELEVISION AND MEDIA INDUSTRIES.
