OUR PRIMARY MISSION IS TO ADVANCE SCHOOL-CHOICE BY PROVIDING FINANCIAL SUPPORT, THROUGH TUITION SCHOLARSHIPS, TO QUALIFIED STUDENTS ATTENDING PRIVATE ARIZONA K-12 SCHOOLS. APESF IS CERTIFIED BY THE ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE AS A SCHOOL TUITION ORGANIZATION PURSUANT TO ARS SECTION 43-1089. APESF UTILIZES STATE TAX CREDIT AND GENERAL DONATION REVENUES TO FULFILL ITS MISSION.

THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH WORKSHOPS, CLASSES, AND OTHER METHODS OF INSTRUCTION TAUGHT BY MASTER ARTISTS AND OTHERS WHO ARE LEADERS DEDICATED TO THE ARTISTIC ENRICHMENT OF THE ART COMMUNITY.

MERITUS IS ORGANIZED AS A HEALTH INSURANCE CO-OP PURSUANT TO SECTION 1322 OF THE AFFORDABLE CARE ACT AND PROVIDES HEALTH INSURANCE TO INDIVIDUALS AND SMALL GROUPS IN THE STATE OF ARIZONA BOTH ON AND OFF THE FEDERAL HEALTH INSURANCE EXCHANGE. IN THE YEAR 2016 MERITUS WAS PLACED IN RECEIVERSHIP BY THE ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF INSURANCE AND DID NOT SELL ANY HEALTH INSURANCE COVERAGE.
