Also included are organizations that provide relief services in response to a major disaster or large-scale emergency that occurs abroad.

The goal of this organization is to provide opportunities for people to learn and become competitive in swimming, diving, snorkeling, surfing, water skiing, water polo, boating, white water rafting and other water sports. Coaching, access to a swimming pool or other facilities, sports equipment, and officials for competitions are generally included.

IN RECENT YEARS THE ORGANIZATION HAS FOCUSED MORE ON YOUTH PROGRAMS AND TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT THAT HAS RESULTED IN CURLERS FROM FAIRBANKS BEING REPRESENTED ON NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIONS INCLUDING THE OLYMPICS.
