WE TACKLE THESE CONCERNS BY INVESTING IN OUR YOUTH AT SCHOOLS, SPEAKING WITH FAMILIES AT OUR FREE SPAY NEUTER EVENTS AND CREATING LEADERS THROUGH OUR NEIGHBORHOOD ADVOCACY.

THE CATTERY OFFERS AN ALTERNATIVE TO TRADITIONAL ANIMAL SHELTERS IN PROVIDING A NO-KILL, CAGE-FREE HAVEN FOR HOMELESS, ABUSED, OR ABANDONED CATS. FROM THERE, WE SEEK PERMANENT, LOVING HOMES FOR THESE ANIMALS. IN ADDITION, OUR ORGANIZATION PROMOTES PUBLIC AWARENESS REGARDING THE VALUE OF ANIMALS AND THEIR WELFARE, THE DANGERS OF PET OVERPOPULATION, AND THE BENEFIT OF QUALITY HUMAN-ANIMAL COMPANIONSHIP.

PROMOTE THE ADVANCEMENT OF PUREBRED DOGS BY INITIATING AND MAINTAINING SPORTSMANLIKE COMPETITIONS, EDUCATION AND TRAINING PROGRAMS, AND PROMOTIONAL ACTIVITIES WHICH WILL STIMULATE AND EXTEND PUBLIC INTEREST IN THE PUREBRED DOG AS WELL AS INTEREST IN THE HEALTH AND WELFARE OF DOGS.

THE BEAGLE BUNGALOW IS A NON-PROFIT FACILITY WHOSE PRIMARY PURPOSE IS TO PROVIDE A SANCTUARY FOR RESCUED BEAGLES AND HOUNDS IN NEED OF LONG TERM CARE BECAUSE OF AGE AND/OR MEDICAL CONDITIONS. IN ADDITION, WE WILL PROVIDE BOARDING, ASSESSMENT, AND TRAINING OF NEWLY RESCUED BEAGLES UNTIL THEY CAN BE PLACED IN A HOUSTON BEAGLE AND HOUND RESCUE, INC. (A NON-PROFIT TEXAS CORPORATION) FOSTER HOME. ALL CANINE RESIDENTS WILL HAVE FULL MEDICAL VETTING DONE BY A LICENSED VETERIMARY DOCTOR PRIOR TO ADMISSION TO THE BEAGLE BUNGALOW TO ENSURE A HEALTHY ENVIRONMENT. ON-GOING MEDICAL TREATMENT FOR LONG TERM RESIDENTS WILL BE PROVIDED AS NEEDED. THE BOARD MEMBERS ALONG WITH OUR VOLUNTEERS HAVE A VAST AMOUNT OF KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE WITH BEHAVIORS SPECIFIC TO SCENT HOUNDS. THIS WILL ENSURE DOGS WILL BE CARED FOR IN A SAFE, HOMELIKE ENVIRONMENT THAT PROVIDES COMFORT AND PROPER SOCIALIZATION. OUR LONG TERM GOAL IS TO EDUCATED THE PUBLIC ON RESPONSIBLE PET OWNERSHIP WITH THE UNDERSTANDING THAT HAVING A
