The goal of this organization are the organizations like chambers of commerce, business leagues and commercial trade associations whose members are businessmen and women and merchants who have affiliated for the purpose of promoting the general commercial interests of the community or the interests of their own trade. [Many of these are found in section 501(c)(6) business leagues; and 501(c)(6) chambers of commerce.]

Many service clubs are chapters of national or international organizations.

MISSION:

BARNESVILLE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION WAS INCORPORATED ON FEBRUARY 10, 1993, AND COMMENCED OPERATIONS AND BY-LAWS WERE ADOPTED ON OCTOBER 21, 1996. ON THAT DATE, BY-LAWS WERE ADOPTED. A BOARD OF TRUSTEES WAS ELECTED, AND OFFICERS WERE ELECTED BY THE TRUSTEES. THE PURPOSE OF THE FOUNDATION IS TO SOLICIT AND RECEIVE CONTRIBUTIONS AND TO DISTRIBUTE THESE FUNDS (OR IN THE CASE OF THE ENDOWMENT, THE EARNINGS THEREFROM) FOR THE CULTURAL AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF THE VILLAGE OF BARNESVILLE.

MISSION:

THE NORTH AMERICAN GENERATOR FORUM, INC., PROVIDES ENTITIES WHO ARE GENERATOR OWNERS AND OPERATORS IN NORTH AMERICA A MEANS TO COLLABORATE AND COMMUNICATE WITH FERC, NERC, THE REGIONAL ENTITIES, THE CANADIAN PROVINCES AND OTHER ORGANIZATIONS ON TOPICS RELATED TO REGISTRATION, COMPLIANCE, STANDARDS DEVELOPMENT, ETC., WITH THE ULTIMATE GOAL OF IMPROVING THE RELIABILITY OF THE BULK POWER SYSTEM.

THE CIRCUIT IS THE NON-PROFIT INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY ASSOCIATION FOR THE GREATER CINCINNATI REGION. WE ASPIRE TO BE THE CONNECTING POINT FOR ALL THINGS INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY IN THE GREATER CINCINNATI COMMUNITY, PROVIDING MEMBERS WITH INDUSTRY EDUCATION AND THE OPPORTUNITY TO CONNECT AND COLLABORATE.

THE CLUB SUPPORTS ALL ATHLETIC EVENTS IN THE NEW PHILADELPHIA SCHOOL SYSTEM. THEY WORK CLOSELY WITH THE BOARD OF EDUCATION TO HELP PAY FOR EQUIPMENT AND TRANSPORTATION NEEDED BY THE ATHLETES.

THE MISSION OF TROY MAIN STREET IS TO COORDINATE THE EFFORTS OF ALL THOSE DEDICATED TO MAKING DOWNTOWN TROY A BETTER PLACE TO LIVE, WORK, SHOP, CELEBRATE, AND INVEST.
