TO PROVIDE A UNIFIED APPROACH AND OPEN LINE OF COMMUNICATION TO OUR STATE AND FEDERAL LEGISLATURES AND ADMINISTRATIONS THAT REFLECTS THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE OF THE GREAT STATE OF NEW JERSEY AND WORKS TO IMPROVE THE HEALTH AND WELL BEING OF ALL ITS RESIDENTS.THE NEW JERSEY CONFERENCE OF MAYORS WAS FOUNDED IN 1963 BY A GROUP OF LEADING MAYORS WHO BELIEVED THEIR COLLECTIVE VOICES SHOULD BE HEARD IN TRENTON AND WASHINGTON. AS FRONT-LINE SOLDIERS IN COMMUNITIES ACROSS THE STATE, THE FOUNDING MAYORS WERE INTERESTED IN EACH OTHERS ACTIVITIES AND CHOSE TO FIND COMMON GROUND ON ISSUES IMPACTING THEIR RESIDENTS. NJCM HAS SINCE BECOME THE LARGEST STATEWIDE MAYORS ORGANIZATION IN OUR NATION TO EXCLUSIVELY REPRESENT THE INTERESTS OF MAYORS TO THE STATE AND FEDERAL LEGISLATURES AND ADMINISTRATIONS.

MISSION:

THE LAKEWOOD ECONOMIC ACTION PROGRAM INC. (LEAP) PROVIDES COMPREHENSIVE CHILD DEVELOPMENT SERVICES TO LOW-INCOME FAMILIES. AN EARLY HEAD START GRANT ENABLED LEAP TO EXPAND THE PROGRAM TO INCLUDE PREGNANT WOMEN AND FAMILIES WITH NEWBORN BABIES AND CHILDREN UP TO 3 YEARS OLD.

The goal of this organization are the organizations like chambers of commerce, business leagues and commercial trade associations whose members are businessmen and women and merchants who have affiliated for the purpose of promoting the general commercial interests of the community or the interests of their own trade. [Many of these are found in section 501(c)(6) business leagues; and 501(c)(6) chambers of commerce.]

THE LODGE UNITES ITS MEMBERS IN THE BONDS OF FRATERNITY, BENEVOLENCE AND CHARITY. THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH YEAR ROUND SCHEDULE OF SOCIAL AND RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES FOR MEMBERS AND THEIR FAMILIES. FUNDS ARE DONATED TO LOCAL CHILDRENS SPORTING AND SOCIAL ORGANIZATIONS.

GENERAL PROMOTION OF CIVIC AND SOCIAL ACTIVITIES ON OR NEAR THE PROPERTY THAT INCLUDES A SWIMMING POOL AND PARK LAND FOR THE MUTUAL BENEFIT OF THE HOMEOWNERS OF GLACIER HILLS AND THEIR NEIGHBORS.
