BETTERING EXISTING CONDITIONS FOR POLICE OFFICERS AND ADVANCING SOCIAL, CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL UNDERTAKINGS BY POLICE OFFICERS.

THE PURPOSE OF THE GRAND CHAPTER IS TO MANAGE AND SUPPORT CONSTITUENT CHAPTERS WITHIN THE STATE OF ILLINOIS.

MISSION:

SPONSOR AND PROVIDE FOR SOCIAL AND RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES FOR ALUMNI AND MEMBERS OF THE SIGMA CHI CHAPTER HOUSE OF PURDUE. INVESTMENT OF EXCESS MONIES SOLELY AND EXCLUSIVELY FOR FUTURE USE BY THE CHAPTER HOUSE FOR CAPITAL AND EDUCATIONAL IMPROVEMENTS. INVESTMENT INCOME EARNED IS REINVESTED AND SET-ASIDE FOR FUTURE EDUCATIONAL IMPROVEMENTS OF THE HOUSE.

TO CARRY ON FRATERNAL ACTIVITIES UNDER THE LODGE SYSTEM, THE NET INCOME OF WHICH IS USED EXCLUSIVELY FOR BENEVOLENT AND CHARITABLE PURPOSES. THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH YOUTH ACTIVITIES, DRUG AWARENESS, YOUTH SCHOLARSHIP, ASSISTANCE TO LOCAL CHARITIES, VETERAN PROGRAMS, AMERICANISM, AND SUPPORT TO STATE MAJOR PROJECT.

THE ORGANIZATION UNITES ITS MEMBERS IN THE BONDS OF FRATERNITY, BENEVOLENCE AND CHARITY. THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH A YEAR-ROUND SCHEDULE OF SOCIAL AND RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES FOR MEMBERS AND THEIR FAMILIES ESTIMATED AT 2500.
