THE HAROLD E. EISENBERG FOUNDATION ADVANCES CANCER MEDICINE BY SUPPORTING CRITICAL GASTROINTESTINAL CANCER RESEARCH. IT ALSO EDUCATES AND MENTORS HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS, COLLEGE STUDENTS AND YOUNG PROFESSIONALS ASPIRING A CAREER IN REAL ESTATE, WITH AN EMPHASIS ON CREATING OPPORTUNITIES AND RESOURCES TO INCREASE DIVERSITY, EQUITY, AND INCLUSION (DEI) WITHIN THE INDUSTRY. THE FOUNDATION IS COMMITTED TO CATAPULTING THE CAREER PATHS OF THE NEXT GENERATION BY PROVING HANDS-ON, REAL WORLD EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES, INCLUDING MENTORSHIPS, JOB FAIRS AND CAREER READINESS TRAINING.THIS TWO-PRONGED MISSION HONORS THE LEGACY OF HAROLD "HAL" EISENBERG, THE FOUNDATION'S NAMESAKE, A REAL ESTATE VISIONARY, TEACHER, LEADER AND MENTOR WHO LOST HIS LIFE AFTER A SHORT BATTLE WITH LIVER CANCER AT THE AGE OF 53.

THE ROTARY CLUB OF HILTON HEAD ISLAND CHARITABLE FOUNDATION IS THE FUNDING ARM OF ALL OF THE COMMUNITY PROJECTS AND CHARITABLE EFFORTS OF THE ROTARY CLUB OF HILTON HEAD ISLAND. IT PROVIDES A SIMPLE, TAX EFFICIENT WAY FOR EVERYONE - CLUB MEMBERS AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS, TO SUPPORT THE ONGOING EFFORTS TO PROVIDE HELP WHERE NEEDED AND IMPROVE OUR ISLAND HOME FOR ALL.

TO AID LOW-INCOME FAMILIES IN THE U.S. AND VIETNAM WITH EDUCATIONAL AND FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, INCLUDING SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES.

L.O.T. 2540 SUPPORTS MINISTRIES THAT PROMOTE PHYSICAL AND SPIRITUAL HEALING FOR FAMILIES IN ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, NC. THE CORE OF THE MINISTRY IS COMPRISED OF COUNSELING/PRAYER SERVICES TO THE COMMUNITY TO SERVE THEIR SPIRITUAL NEEDS.THE CORE MINISTRIES ARE SUPPORTED BY A RETAIL SPACE THAT INCLUDES A SALVAGE AND RECYCLING STORE. THE STORE NOT ONLY OFFERS FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO L.O.T. 2540 BUT IS ALSO UTILIZED TO FACILITATE VOCATIONAL TRAINING AND LEADERSHIP TRAINING FOR "IN TRANSITION" INDIVIDUALS. OTHER MINISTRIES, DIRECTED TOWARD THOSE WHO ARE STRUGGLING ECONOMICALLY, INCLUDE A "FREE STORE" (CLOTHING, FURNISHINGS, FOOD ITEMS, ETC.) AND A FOOD PANTRY SUPPORTED BY FOOD DONATIONS AND PURCHASES.L.O.T. 2540 CONTINUES TO MENTOR AND SUPPORT OTHER OPPORTUNITIES TO HELP CLIENTS TO BECOME SELF-SUPPORTING.
