MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to provide opportunities for people of all ages to learn, become competitive in and enjoy the organized recreational activity, sport or game of their choice. These programs may be offered by local clubs devoted to a particular activity or sport; may provide individual or team coaching assistance or instruction, access to equipment and facilities, and uniforms, if necessary; and may sponsor or make arrangements for athletes to participate in amateur competitions, usually at the local or regional level, and provide officials for games. These events are generally for the enjoyment of the athletes and are not at a high enough competitive level to be considered spectator sports.

MISSION:

PROVIDE EQUIPMENT AND PROGRAMS TO ENHANCE YOUTH NOVICE AND SKILLED BOATING. RUNS PROGRAMS TO ASSIST HIGH SCHOOL TEAMS AND YOUNGER PARTICIPANTS DEVELOP BOATING AND WATER SAFETY SKILLS.

SOUTHERN ARIZONA ADAPTIVE SPORTS PROVIDES FITNESS, RECREATION, AND COMPETITIVE SPORTS OPPORTUNITIES FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES.

THE EXTRA MILE CLUB OF THE LOWCOUNTRY HAS AS ITS PRIMARY FOCUS TO OFFER MULTIPLE YOUTH MENTORING PROGRAMS TO THE YOUTH RESIDENTS OF BEAUFORT AND SURROUNDING COUNTIES TO INCLUDE STRENGTH, FOOTBALL, CHEERLEADING AND SKILLS BUILDING. THESE PROGRAMS ARE OFFERED THROUGH CAMPS THAT TRAVEL FOR COMPETITION AGAINST OTHER YOUTH GROUPS TO BUILD COMRADERY AND TEAM SPIRIT.

The goal of this organization is to provide opportunities for people to learn and become competitive in sports involving horseback riding and jumping. Coaching, access to riding and jumping facilities and officials for competitions are generally included.

THE CLUB SUPPORTS AREA SPORTSMEN BY ENGAGING IN CONSERVATION ACTIVITIES AND PROVIDING SOCIAL ACTIVITIES FOR MEMBERS

TO PROVIDE A RECREATIONAL SPORTS PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN LIVING IN THE AREA. CHILDREN PLAY IN YEAR ROUND SPORTS PROGRAMS TO TEACH AND DEVELOP SPORTSMANSHIP TEAMWORK AND PROVIDE TRAINING. FEES ARE REDUCED FOR THOSE WHO WOULD OTHERWISE NOT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE.
