MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to make available to members and their guests and facilities for recreational activities, sports and games. Also included are social clubs that provide opportunities for people to meet and socialize with their peers at dances, parties, picnics, barbecues and other companionable events; and special interest clubs which enable people to share hobbies or other interests with individuals with those same interests.

MISSION:

THE CLUB HOSTS HUNTER EDUCATION CLASSES APPROVED BY THE TEXAS PARKS AND WILDLIFE DEPARTMENT. APPROXIMATELY 500 MEMBERS PARTICIPATE IN OPERATION OF THE GUN RANGE PROMOTING FIREARMS SAFETY AND COMPETITIVE PROFICIENCY.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to provide opportunities for people to learn and become competitive in archery; fly or bait fishing; game bird, game fowl, or game animal hunting; fox hunting; and/or the use of firearms on the target range.

MISSION:

THE PROGRAM PROVIDES AMATEUR COMPTITIVE SEIM TRAINING TO CHILDREN AGES 7 TO 18. GRADUATES OF THE PROGRAM MAY BE SCHOLARSHIP CANDIDATES AT VARIOUS UNIVERSITIES AND SOME HAVE GONE ON TO COMPETE AT THE NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL LEVEL INCLUDING THE OLYMPICS.

The goal of this organization is to provide opportunities for people to learn and become competitive in baseball or softball. Coaching, access to a baseball field, baseball equipment, uniforms, and managers and umpires for games are generally included.

THE GILROY RODEO ASSOCIATION (GRA) IS ORGANIZED EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE PURPOSE OF EDUCATING THE PUBLIC AND INFORMING THE YOUTH OF SANTA CLARA COUNTY AND SURROUNDING AREAS IN THE ART AND HISTORY OF THE COWBOY AND COWGIRL RODEO AND ABOUT AGRICULTURAL MATTERS. THIS PURPOSE IS ACCOMPLISHED BY GRA HOSTING AN ANNUAL, FAMILY-FRIENDLY RODEO AND EVENTS THAT EDUCATES AND ENTERTAINS THE PUBLIC, SUPPORTS SANTA CLARA COUNTY YOUTH, SHOWCASES WESTERN HERITAGE AND PROVIDES YEAR-ROUND EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT WITHIN THE COMMUNITY. THE GILROY RODEO ASSOCIATION IS AN ALL-VOLUNTEER, NOT-FOR-PROFIT PUBLIC BENEFIT CORPORATION. IT IS IN PURSUIT OF THESE GOALS THAT GRA SPONSORS ANNUAL PUBLIC FAIRS, EXHIBITIONS, RODEOS AND OTHER SPECIAL EVENTS. THESE EVENTS OFFER THE PUBLIC A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO BE EXPOSED TO AND INFORMED ABOUT THE MANY AREAS OF AGRICULTURE INCLUDING LIVESTOCK BREEDING AND IMPROVEMENT OF BREEDS, HORTICULTURE, HORSES, POULTRY, SWINE AND RESOURCE MANAGEMENT AND CONSERVATION.

THE MISSION OF THE SALT LAKE CITY-UTAH COMMITTEE FOR THE GAMES IS TO BRING A FUTURE OLYMPIC AND PARALYMPIC WINTER GAMES BACK TO UTAH, WITH A SPECIFIC FOCUS ON HOSTING GAMES IN 2030 OR 2034. THE COMMITTEE IS A UTAH 501(C)(3) NONPROFIT WHOSE BOARD OF DIRECTORS INCLUDES ATHLETES, POLITICAL LEADERS, BUSINESS AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS, AND OTHER STAKEHOLDERS. THE KEY ACTIVITIES OF THE COMMITTEE INCLUDE: DEVELOPMENT OF A GAMES VISION, PROPOSED LEGACY, AND OTHER TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS TO HOST A GAMES FOR SUBMISSION TO THE INTERNATIONAL OLYMPIC COMMITTEE; PROMOTION OF SALT LAKE CITY-UTAH'S AMBITIONS TO HOST THE GAMES; ENSURING STRONG ALIGNMENT BETWEEN HOSTING THE GAMES AND COMMUNITY LONG-TERM DEVELOPMENT PLANS THROUGH ACTIVE COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT; AND ADVANCING OLYMPISM AND PARALYMPISM THROUGH ALL COMMITTEE'S ACTIVITIES.

These events are generally for the enjoyment of the athletes and are not at a high enough competitive level to be considered spectator sports.
