MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to provide opportunities for people of all ages to learn, become competitive in and enjoy the organized recreational activity, sport or game of their choice. These programs may be offered by local clubs devoted to a particular activity or sport; may provide individual or team coaching assistance or instruction, access to equipment and facilities, and uniforms, if necessary; and may sponsor or make arrangements for athletes to participate in amateur competitions, usually at the local or regional level, and provide officials for games. These events are generally for the enjoyment of the athletes and are not at a high enough competitive level to be considered spectator sports.

GREAT LAKES REGION VOLLEYBALL IS COMMITTED TO AND WORKS TOWARD OPPORTUNITY FOR ALL TO PARTICIPATE. PROVIDE RESOURCES, POLICIES, TOOLS AND PROCEDURES TO ENSURE THE SAFETY IS A TOP PRIORITY FOR ALL USA VOLLEYBALL MEMBERS. FOSTER A SAFE ENVIRONMENT FOR MEMBERS TO REPORT CONCERNS AND TAKE THE NECESSARY APPROPRIATE ACTION TO ADDRESS ALL CLAIMS IN A TIMELY MANNER. TO PROMOTE AND DEVELOP THE SPORT OF VOLLEYBALL; TO PROVIDE CLINICS AND MODULES IN COACHING, PLAYING AND OFFICIATING; TO CONDUCT AND ENCOURAGE COMPETITION WITHIN THE GLR AND USA VOLLEYBALL; TO ACT AS THE OFFICIAL REPRESENTATIVE OF USA VOLLEYBALL WITHIN THE GEOGRAPHICAL AREA ASSIGNED; TO ENSURE COMPLIANCE WITH USA VOLLEYABLL AND THE GLR RULES AND REGULATIONS.

MISSION:

THE ASSOCIATION PROVIDES EDUCATIONAL COURSES FOR INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS, PRODUCES AN ANNUAL INDUSTRY TRADE SHOW, AND ACTS AS THE CONSUMER RESOURCE FOR FINDING PROFESSIONALS IN THE SWIMMING POOL INDUSTRY.

OPERATES AS A SOCIAL CLUB PROVIDING SERVICES TO CLUB MEMBERS INCLUDING GOLF, SWIMMING, TENNIS, CAMPING SERVICES AND RESTAURANT FACILITIES.

MISSION:

NATIONAL OFFICE PROVIDES SUPPORT, RESOURCES, EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND SERVICES FOR ALUMNI AND UNDERGRADUATE CHAPTERS THAT PROVIDE LIVING FACILITIES AND LIFE-SKILLS TRAINING FOR MEMBERS ATTENDING COLLEGE.

MISSION:

THE ORGANIZATION WILL PROVIDE THE YOUTH ATHLETE WITH A POSITIVE SOCCER EXPERIENCE, WHICH INCORPORATES THE TEACHING OF PROPER SKILL DEVELOPMENT, TEAM PARTICIPATION, AND FUN. OUR COACHES ARE EXPECTED TO HELP BUILD GOOD CHARACTER BY; HELPING EACH PLAYER GAIN SELF-CONFIDENCE, TEACH GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP, AND TO RESPECT ALL THOSE WHO PARTICIPATE IN ANY SOCCER ENVIRONMENT. THE ORGANIZATION WILL PROVIDE EACH PLAYER WITH A LEVEL OF COMPETITION THAT ENHANCES INDIVIDUAL DEVELOPMENT AS SOCCER PLAYERS THROUGH PROPER COACHING, QUALITY FACILITIES, AND PROGRAMMING.

THE MAPGA JUNIOR GOLF FOUNDATION WAS ESTABLISHED TO FURTHER ENHANCE THE SECTION'S EXISTING JUNIOR TOURNAMENTS, CULTIVATE ITS MANY INNER-CITY YOUTH PROGRAMS, AND BECOME MORE ACTIVE WITH ALL OF THE JUNIOR INTERCLUB LEAGUES THROUGHOUT THE MID-ATLANTIC REGION.
