MISSION:

BAY AREA VOLLEYBALL ACADEMY IS A NON-PROFIT JUNIOR OLYMPIC VOLLEYBALL CLUB THAT IS DEDICATED TO PROVIDING AN EXCEPTIONAL DEVELOPMENTAL AND COMPETITIVE VOLLEYBALL EXPERIENCE FOR FEMALE PLAYERS IN ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY AND SURROUNDING COUNTIES. THIS PROGRAM IS COMMITTED TO THE COMMUNITY AND PROMOTES STRONG RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN PLAYERS, COACHES AND PARENTS. THE ACADEMY AIMS TO CHALLENGE ATHLETES TO ACHIEVE THEIR POTENTIAL WHILE DEVELOPING SKILLS NEEDED TO COMPETE AT A HIGHLY COMPETITIVE LEVEL. THROUGH PARTICIPATION AND EDUCATION, THE PROGRAM EMPHASIZES THE VALUE OF SPORTSMANSHIP, CHARACTER, SELF-DISCIPLINE, AND TEAMWORK. IT IS THE GOAL OF THE CLUB FOR EACH ATHLETE TO ATTAIN THE SATISFACTION AND ENJOYMENT OF PLAYING COMPETITIVE VOLLEYBALL BUT WITH A PERSPECTIVE RECOGNIZING BALANCE IN ONE'S PERSONAL LIFE.

The goal of this organization is to provide opportunities for people of all ages to learn, become competitive in and enjoy the organized recreational activity, sport or game of their choice. These programs may be offered by local clubs devoted to a particular activity or sport; may provide individual or team coaching assistance or instruction, access to equipment and facilities, and uniforms, if necessary; and may sponsor or make arrangements for athletes to participate in amateur competitions, usually at the local or regional level, and provide officials for games. These events are generally for the enjoyment of the athletes and are not at a high enough competitive level to be considered spectator sports.

MISSION:

LET ME RUN IS A NONPROFIT WELLNESS PROGRAM THAT INSPIRES BOYS TO BE THEMSELVES, BE ACTIVE, AND BELONG. WITH A COMPREHENSIVE CURRICULUM THAT APPLIES THE POWER OF RUNNING, THE PROGRAM ENCOURAGES BOYS TO DEVELOP THEIR PSYCHOLOGICAL, EMOTIONAL, AND SOCIAL HEALTH, IN ADDITION TO THEIR PHYSICAL HEALTH.

TO PROVIDE AND MAINTAIN AN ICE ARENA FOR THE HOCKEY AND FIGURE SKATING YOUTH OF THE COMMUNITY AND SURROUNDING AREA AND TO PROVIDE A BUILDING FOR OTHER VARIOUS COMMUNITY EVENTS AND SCHOOL RELATED ACTIVITIES.

MISSION:

THE PURPOSE OF THE LEHIGH VALLEY ROAD RUNNERS IS TO DEVELOP AND PROMOTE DISTANCE RUNNING AND RACING IN THE GREATER ALLENTOWN-BETHLEHEM-EASTON AREA, TO PROVIDE INFORMATION AND SOCIAL ACTIVITIES, AND TO ENHANCE TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES IN A SUPPORTIVE ATMOSPHERE FOR RUNNERS OF ALL ABILITIES. THE LVRR WAS FORMED IN 1993 BY THE MERGER OF THE LEHIGH VALLEY ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION AND THE EMMAUS ROAD RUNNERS, TWO LONG ESTABLISHED LOCAL RUNNING ORGANIZATIONS. THE MERGER OF THE TWO CLUBS HAS RESULTED IN A UNIFIED REGIONAL RUNNING CLUB OF OVER 500 MEMBERS WHO PARTICIPATE AND VOLUNTEER AT CLUB RACES AND EVENTS. THE LVRR IS A SANCTIONED MEMBER OF THE ROAD RUNNERS CLUB OF AMERICA, A NATIONWIDE GOVERNING BODY FOR RECREATIONAL RUNNING CLUBS.

PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP ASSOCIATION THAT PRIMARILY PROVIDES EDUCATIOJN AND SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES FOR MEMBER ATHLETIC TRAINERS IN A SIX -STATE REGION.

TO PROVIDE INSTRUCTION AND TRAINING IN THE CLAY TARGET SHOOTING SPORTS, FOR THE PURPOSE OF IMPROVING AND DEVELOPING THE SKILLS OF PARTICIPANTS IN PROGRAMS SPONSORED BY THE ORGANIZATION. TO PROVIDE SUPPORT TO SCHOOL DISTRICTS, GUN CLUBS, 4H GROUPS, CHURCH GROUPS, AND OTHER ORGANIZATIONS FOR THE PURPOSE OF ORGANIZING, FUNDING AND OTHERWISE PROMOTING THE DEVELOPMENT OF YOUTH CLAY TARGET SHOOTING TEAMS.
