THE CORPORATION RECEIVES HOUSING ASSISTANCE FROM THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT PURSUANT TO SECTION 811 OF THE NATIONAL HOUSING ACT, AS AMENDED.

FAMILIES TYPICALLY STAY ONE TO THREE YEARS WITH LOW TURNOVER. THE GOAL IS TO INSTILL PERMANENT CHANGE, NOT A QUICK FIX. THE RATE OF SELF-SUFFICIENCY IS OVER 80 PERCENT.

TO PROMOTE SOCIAL WELFARE WITHIN THE MEANING OF SECTION 501(C)(4) OF THE CODE OR CORRESPONDING SECTION OF ANY FUTURE FEDERAL TAX CODE BY PROVIDING AFFORDABLE HOUSING FOR LOW AND MODERATE INCOME FAMILIES AND COMBATTING COMMUNITY DETERIORATION BY BUILDING NEW HOMES IN NEIGHBORHOODS THAT ARE CONSIDERED DISTRESSED OR THAT WOULD BENEFIT FROM INVESTMENT OR NEW MODERATE INCOME HOMES.
