GIRLS STATE IS A CITIZENSHIP PROGRAM FOR YOUNG WOMEN IN THE STATE OF TENNESSEE WHO HAVE COMPLETED THEIR JUNIOR YEAR IN HIGH SCHOOL. IT IS A MOTIVATIONAL, NON-PARTISAN PROGRAM THAT TEACHES THE RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITY OF GOOD CITIZENSHIP.
