THE ORGANIZATION WAS CREATED IN 1978 TO PROMOTE THE APPRECIATION OF FINE QUILTS, SPONSOR, AND SUPPORT QUILTING ACTIVITIES, ENCOURAGE QUILT MAKING AND COLLECTION, AND TO FURTHER THE GROWTH OF QUILTERS EDUCATION. OUR MISSION, YEARS LATER, STILL INCLUDES ALL THESE ACTIVITIES.
