THE ENGLISH-SPEAKING UNION (ESU) EMPLOYS ENGLISH AS A CATALYST TO FOSTER GLOBAL UNDERSTANDING AND GOOD WILL THROUGH EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES AND CULTURAL EXCHANGE PROGRAMS. IN A SHRINKING WORLD DOMINATED BY DOLLARS AND DIGITS, UNPRECEDENTED NUMBERS OF DISPLACED PERSONS, THE ESU BELIEVES IN BUILDING A BETTER WORLD THROUGH THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE AND INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGE. WE WORK TO INSPIRE COMMON BONDS, PERSON-TO-PERSON, ONE CONVERSATION, ONE PRESENTATION AND ONE EXCHANGE AT A TIME. WISHTOYO IS PLACE, ORGANIZATION, AND MOVEMENT INSPIRING PEOPLE TO LIVE IN HARMONY WITH OUR EARTH AGAIN.IN MARCH 2020, THERE WAS A GLOBAL OUTBREAK OF A NEW STRAIN OF CORONAVIRUS, COVID-19 AND THE GLOBAL AND DOMESTIC RESPONSE CONTINUE TO EVOLVE DURING THE YEAR WHICH ENDED DECEMBER 31, 2021. SEVERAL OF THE FOUNDATIONS PROGRAMS, SPECIFICALLY THOSE RELATED TO WORK WITH SCHOOL CHILDREN, SLOWLY RETURNED AT A REDUCED CAPACITY, AND THE FOUNDATION WAS ABLE TO HOST A FUNDRAISING EVENT. THE FOUNDATION CONTINUED ITS MISSION WORK OF ITS COMPREHENSIVE WATER MONITORING PROGRAM, AND RESTORING SOME OF THE HEAVILY DEGRADED ACREAGE WITH NATIVE PLANTS AND TREES INCLUDING, INDIGENOUS OAK TREES ALONG THE SANTA CLARA RIVER.
