THE ORGANIZATION IS PARTNERING WITH VARIOUS PRIVATE AND PUBLIC SECTOR ENTITIES TO ESTABLISH MODEL TEMPLATES THAT CAN BE USED IN CONJUNCTION WITH CURRENT AND FUTURE SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL NEEDS SO AS TO BE BETTER ABLE TO PROVIDE RELIABLE INFORMATION TO POLICYMAKERS.THE ORGANIZATION CONTINUES ITS EFFORTS TO PROMOTE WATER CONSERVATION AND REUSE FOLLOWING THE RELEASE OF ITS DPH 97-005 USER GUIDE DESIGNED TO UPDATE UNDERSTANDING IN THIS AREA. TO THIS END IT COORDINATED THE PRESENTATION OF MATERIAL IN WORKSHOP FORMAT TO OVER 250 REPRESENTATIVES OF VARIOUS PRIVATE, PUBLIC AND REGULATORY AGENCIES.IT IS CURRENTLY BUILDING ON THIS EXPERIENCE TO DETERMINE HOW TO ADDRESS ISSUES ASSOCIATED WITH CONTAMINANTS OF EMERGING CONCERN AS A PART OF ISSUES THAT NEED TO BE ADDRESSED TO PROVIDE ENHANCED RESILIENCY FOR STATE, REGIONAL AND LOCAL WATER SUPPLIES.
