NHS PROVIDED MORTGAGE ASSISTANCE, CONSELING AND FINANCIAL LITERACY EDUCATION TO HOUSEHOLDS AND ASSISTED CLIENTS IN AVOIDING FORECLOSURE THROUGH HOME RETENTION/DISPOSITION OPTIONS. NHS ORIGINATED AFFORDABLE LOANS FOR FAMILIES. NHS PROVIDED REINVESTMENT IN LOCAL NEIGHBORHOODS AND HOSETED EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS AND PARTICIPATED IN NEIGHBORHOOD-BASED EVENTS. THROUGH DIRECT EVENTS CONTACT, MEDIA, DIRECT MAIL AND ADVERTISING, NHS ENGAGED MANY VOLUNTEERS.
