PROTECT AND DEFEND THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES AND THE INDIVIDUAL'S RIGHT TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS, BOTH IN PUBLIC AND PRIVATE; PROMOTE AND EDUCATE THE PUBLIC REGARDING SAFE AND RESPONSIBLE FIREARM OWNERSHIP AND USE; ENCOURAGE PARTICIPATION IN SANCTIONED SHOOTING SPORTS AND PROMOTE AN INDIVIDUAL'S RIGHT OF SELF-PRESERVATION, HUNTING, DEFENSE OF FAMILY, PERSONS, PROPERTY, AND THE COMMON DEFENSE; SUPPORT AND PROMOTION OF THE GOALS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE NATIONAL RIFLE ASSOCIATIONS OF AMERICA AND THE INALIENABLE RIGHTS OF THE INDIVIDUAL AMERICAN CITIZEN; SUPPORT LEGISLATION THAT SUPPORTS THE MISSION OF THE ASSOCIATION.

MAGAZINE PUBLICATION.BI-MONTHLY MAGAZINE TO OVER 30,000 MEMBERS AND OTHERS WHO HAVE AN INTEREST IN FIREARMS RELATED MATTERS. ARTICLES INCLUDE LEGAL INFORMATION REGARDING FIREARMS CARE AND USE OF FIREARMS; PENDING LEGISLATION AT THE STATE AND LOCAL LEVEL RELATED TO FIREARMS; PERSONAL ANECDOTES ABOUT FIREARM CARE, USE AND TRAINING; COMPETITIVE SHOOTING RESULTS; INFORMATION ON SHOOTING RANGES IN CALIFORNIA; GENERAL MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION; AND STORIES RELATED TO HUNTING AND WILDLIFE.


MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM INCLUDES REMINDERS FOR RENEWING MEMBERSHIP DUES; INFORMATION ON MEMBER BENEFITS SUCH AS BEING ABLE TO COMPETE IN STATEWIDE FIREARMS COMPETITION; MEMBERSHIP DRIVES; HOSTING A FAMILY SHOOTING EVENT; AND HAVING A MEMBERSHIP COORDINATOR TO ANSWER QUESTIONS THAT MEMBERS MAY HAVE. MEMBERS ENJOY THE RIGHTS SPECIFIED IN THE BYLAWS OF THE ASSOCIATION.


THE ASSOCIATION EMPLOYS A GOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS LIASON WHO COMMUNICATES WITH STATEWIDE LEGISLATORS ON MATTERS RELATED TO FIREARMS LEGISLATION. THE ASSOCIATION ALSO COORDINATES EFFORTS WITH LOCAL GOVERNMENTS TO EDUCATE THE LOCAL GOVERNMENTS ON MATTERS RELATED TO PREEMTION OF STATE LAWS REGARDING FIREARMS.
