RESTORATION - COORDINATES AND IMPLEMENTS PRIORITY PROTECTION, RESTORATION AND CONSERVATION PROJECTS AS IDENTIFIED BY THE WATERSHED ASSESSMENT AND ACTION PLAN. IT ALSO ENCOURAGES COMMUNITY INVESTMENT IN RESTORATION OF THE JOHNSON CREEK WATERSHED THROUGH ON-THE-GROUND FISH AND WILDLIFE HABITAT RESTORATION PROJECTS.


OUTREACH AND COMMUNITY STEWARDSHIP - IMPROVES WATERSHED HEALTH BY PROMOTING STEWARDSHIP THROUGH COMMUNITY INVESTMENT, EDUCATION AND OUTREACH. IT ALSO EDUCATES STREAMSIDE PROPERTY OWNERS ON WATERSHED RESTORATION AND CONSERVATION TECHNIQUES, AND ENCOURAGES SCHOOLS TO MAKE LONG-TERM STEWARDSHIP COMMITMENT TO PRIORITY RESTORATION SITES ON JOHNSON CREEK.


MONITORING - PARTICIPATES IN THE INTERJURISDICTIONAL COMMITTEE TO FOCUS ON MONITORING CONSISTENCY THROUGHOUT THE WATERSHED, AND COLLECTS AQUATIC AND RIPARIAN DATA, USED TO INFORM WATERSHED MANAGEMENT AND PROJECT DESIGN. PARTICIPANTS MONITOR FISH, WILDLIFE, AND WATER QUALITY WITH COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERS IN A COORDINATED COMMUNITY SCIENCE PROGRAM.
