THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES ON-CALL, TRAINED VOLUNTEER STAFFING TO THE SNOHOMISH COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE FOR SEARCH AND RESCUE SERVICES, IN COORDINATION WITH THE SNOHOMISH COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT. THE ORGANIZATION TRAINS ITS VOLUNTEERS AND OBTAINS AND MAINTAINS EQUIPMENT AND FACILITIES TO SUPPORT THAT SERVICE. THE ORGANIZATION'S VOLUNTEERS PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES TO THE PUBLIC REGARDING OUTDOOR SAFETY AND WILDERNESS RECREATION.
