MAKING SIMPLE, DIGNIFIED, AFFORDABLE CREMATION AND BURIAL SERVICES AVAILABLE TO CONSUMERS. THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH NEGOTIATING CONTRACTS WITH 19 FUNERAL HOMES ACROSS THE STATE OF WASHINGTON, WHICH PROVIDES LOW COST CREMATION AND BURIAL SERVICES TO MEMBERS OF THE ASSOCIATION. APPROXIMATELY 1,565 MEMBERS PASSED DURING 2015 AND RECEIVED SIMPLE, DIGNIFIED, ECONOMICAL FINAL ARRANGEMENTS THROUGH THESE CONTRACTED FUNERAL HOMES WITH A GUARANTEE OF NO SALES PRESSURE TO THEIR FAMILIES.

PEOPLE'S MEMORIAL MAKES THIS INFORMATION AND THESE FORMS AVAILABLE TO MEMBERS THROUGH NEW MEMBER PACKETS, EDUCATIONAL EVENTS AND ON OUR WEBSITE. APPROXIMATELY 2,087 NEW MEMBERS JOINED THE ASSOCIATION IN 2015 AND RECEIVED THIS INFORMATION. SIMPLIFYING THE PROCESS OF PRE-AUTHORIZING FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS NOT ONLY ASSURES MEMBERS THAT THEIR CREMATION OR BURIAL WISHES WILL BE HONORED BUT ALSO HELPS FAMILIES MAKE INFORMED CHOICES THAT ARE CONSISTENT WITH THEIR VALUES AS WELL WITHIN THEIR FAMILY BUDGET.
