THE NONPROFIT IS ORGANIZED AND OPERATED EXCLUSIVELY TO IMPROVE THE LIVES OF INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES BY PROVIDING AFFORDABLE HOUSING AND A PATHWAY TO HOME OWNERSHIP FOR LOW AND VERY LOW INCOME INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES. THE NONPROFIT HAS SPENT THOUSANDS OF HOURS LOCATING POTENTIAL PROPERTIES AND MAKING OFFERS TO PURCHASE AFFORDABLE HOUSING IN FLORIDA, BUT DUE TO THE CURRENT REAL ESTATE MARKET HAVE BEEN OUTBID ALL TIMES. THEREFORE, THEY BRANCHED OUT TO LOCATE PROPERTIES IN ALABAMA WHICH ARE MUCH MORE AFFORDABLE. THE NONPROFIT PURCHASED A PROPERTY IN ALABAMA IN 2022 WHICH IS BEING RENTED TO LOW INCOME INDIVIDUALS. AN ADDITIONAL PROPERTY WAS PURCHASED IN EARLY 2023 IN ALABAMA. THE NONPROFIT HAS ALSO INCREASED ITS SOCIAL MEDIA PRESENCE TO OBTAIN DONATIONS TO FUND FUTURE HOUSING PURCHASES.
