IN PERSON, ONLINE,AND OVER THE PHONE SUPPORT AND GUIDANCE TO FAMILIES SUFFERING INFANT OR PREGNANCY LOSS. SUPPORT IS PRIMARILY FOCUSED ON HELPING CLIENTS DEVELOP COPING SKILLS FOR MANAGING THEIR GRIEF OVER THE PASSING OF THEIR CHILD. GUIDANCE IS OFFERED FOR ANY LOGISTICAL ISSUES THE PARENTS MAY FACE IN ARRANGING FOR THE BURIAL OF THEIR CHILD AND IN CREATING MEANINGFUL MEMORIALS FOR THE CHILD'S PASSING. SUPPORT TO EXTENDED FAMILY MEMBERS AND FRIENDS IS OFFERED TO HELP THEM WITH THEIR GRIEF AND TO TEACH THEM HOW TO BE HELPFUL TO THE GRIEVING PARENTS. SUPPORT IS OFFERED INDIVIDUALLY AND IN PEER SUPPORT GROUPS. IN ADDITION, EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS FOR COMMUNITIES AND TRAINING PROGRAMS FOR MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS, CLERGY, AND LAY LEADERS ARE PROVIDED. WE RAISE AWARENESS ABOUT THE PREVALENCE OF INFANT/PREGNANCY LOSS, THE IMPACT ON THE AFFECTED FAMILIES, AND GIVE GUIDELINES FOR BEST PRACTICES THAT CAN HELP GRIEVING FAMILIES.
