ENZO & ME PEDIATRIC CANCER FOUNDATION RAISES MONEY TO PROVIDE GRANTS TO PEDIATRIC CANCER RESEARCHERS IN ORDER TO IMPROVE TREATMENTS AND CURES FOR ALL KIDS FIGHTING THE DISEASE.

GRANT PROVIDED TO CHILDREN'S ONCOLOGY GROUP USED TO FUND NEUROBLASTOMA RESEARCH VIA A MULTICENTER STUDY. THIS STUDY INCLUDES NOT ONLY THE CHILDREN'S ONCOLOGY GROUP BUT ALSO EMORY UNIVERSITY THE HOSPITAL FOR SICK CHILDREN NATIONWIDE CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL AND UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA. THE GOAL IS TO STUDY THE MOLECULAR PROFILING OF TUMORS TO UNDERSTAND NEUROBLASTOMA BEHAVIOR AND HOPEFULLY TO PROVIDE BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF HOW TO TREAT THESE COMPLEX PEDIATRIC-SPECIFIC CANCERS.


SPONSORSHIP FOR THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS SAN ANTONIO PEDIATRIC CANCER SYMPOSIUM. ENZO & ME PEDIATRIC CANCER FOUNDATION WAS PRESENT AT THE EVENT WITH A BOOTH TO PROVIDE EDUCATION TO CANCER RESEARCHERS AND CLINICIANS ABOUT OUR ORGANIZATION MISSION AND POTENTIAL FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES FOR GRANTS. WE WERE ABLE TO TALK WITH MULTIPLE PROFESSIONALS THROUGHOUT THE WEEK CREATING CONNECTIONS WHICH LED TO FURTHER DISCUSSIONS IN THE DIRECTION OF RESEARCH AND IDEAS ON WHERE OUR FUNDING SHOULD FOCUS FOR THE MOST IMPACT AND EFFECTIVENESS.


THIS IS OUR ANNUAL GALA FUNDRAISER TITLED CAPES & COCKTAILS. THESE EVENT IS AN EVENING OF SILENT AND LIVE AUCTIONS PEDIATRIC CANCER RESEARCHER CLINICIAN SPEAKERS AND PEDIATRIC CANCER FAMILY SPEAKERS ALL TO RAISE MONEY TO BE USED FOR PEDIATRIC CANCER RESEARCH GRANTS. OUR EVENT IN 2023 WAS HELD AT THE ROUNDHOUSE BISHOP RANCH JUNIPER ATRIUM WHERE OVER 100 PEOPLE WERE IN ATTENDANCE. REVENUE WAS RAISED VIA TICKET SALES PRIVATE DONATIONS AND AUCTION PURCHASES. EXPENSES INCLUDED FOOD AND BEVERAGE A V DJ PHOTOBOOTH DECOR AND MARKETING EVENT MATERIALS.
