OUR MISSION IS TO IMPROVE THE LIVES OF BABIES, TODDLERS AND PARENTS IN WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA THROUGH DIAPER DISTRIBUTION, COMMUNITY AWARENESS AND PARTNERSHIPS.

IN 2021, 307,596 DIAPERS WERE DISTRIBUTED TO FAMILIES IN NEED (A 63.9% INCREASE FROM 2020). THE PANDEMIC EXPONENTIALLY INCREASED DIAPER NEED, AND BABIES NEED BOTTOMS PARTNERED WITH OVER 50 SOCIAL SERVICE AGENCIES IN 7 COUNTIES IN WESTERN NC TO HELP MEET THIS NEED. . EVERY MONTH, DIAPERS WERE PROVIDED TO COMMUNITY PARTNERS SERVING KNOWN CLIENTS AND WHO WERE ALREADY REGULARLY PROVIDING ADDITIONAL SOCIAL SERVICES TO SUPPORT, STABILIZE AND HELP LIFT FAMILIES OUT OF POVERTY; AS WELL AS TO AGENCIES SERVING WALK-IN CLIENTS FACING ACUTE CRISES, SUCH AS BABY PANTRIES, FOOD PANTRIES, AND FOOD MARKETS, INCLUDING SOME WITH MOBILE UNITS OR POP-UP MARKETS TO EXPAND INTO RURAL COMMUNITIES ESPECIALLY WHERE TRANSPORTATION ISSUES ARE A BARRIER FOR FAMILIES.
IN ADDITION TO DIAPERS, AND AS A RESPONSE TO THE INCREDIBLE INCREASE IN NEED DUE TO THE PANDEMIC, BABIES NEED BOTTOMS DISTRIBUTED ADDITIONAL DIAPERING SUPPLIES OF PACKAGES OF BABY WIPES AND TUBES OF RASH CREAM.
