SAFE HOUSE PROJECT IS UNITING COMMUNITIES TO END DOMESTIC SEX TRAFFICKING AND RESTORE HOPE, FREEDOM, AND A FUTURE TO EVERY SURVIVOR.SAFE HOUSE PROJECT'S MISSION IS TWO-FOLD: INCREASE SURVIVOR IDENTIFICATION BEYOND ONE PERCENT THROUGH EDUCATION AND ENSURE EVERY SURVIVOR HAS ACCESS TO SAFE HOUSING AND HOLISTIC CARE BY ACCELERATING SAFE HOUSE CAPACITY AND DEVELOPMENT ACROSS AMERICA.

ACCELERATE DOMESTIC SHELTER CAPACITY - SAFE HOUSE PROJECT MENTORS AND FUNDS NEW AND EXPANDING SAFE HOUSES ACROSS AMERICA TO INCREASE THE NATIONAL LANDSCAPE. SINCE 2018, SHP HAS FUNDED AND SUPPORTED THE LAUNCH OF MULTIPLE PROGRAMS ACROSS AMERICA, PROVIDING AN ADIDTIONAL 272 OPPORTUNITIES FOR SURVIVORS OF CHILD TRAFFICKING IN RESIDENTIAL CARE PROGRAMS.


ADVANCE DOMESTIC TRAFFICKING PREVENTION & EDUCATION - SAFE HOUSE PROJECT KNOWS THAT IN ORDER TO PROVIDE A HOLISTIC SOLUTION TO CHILD SEX TRAFFICKING IN AMERICA IT TAKES BOTH TREATMENT, AND PREVENTION. SINCE 2018, SAFE HOUSE PROJECT DEPLOYED TRAINING TO OVER 200K PEOPLE ON HOW TO PREVENT, SPOT, AND REPORT SUSPECTED TRAFFICKING IN THEIR COMMUNITIES.


SURVIVOR EMPOWERMENT: EMERGENCY RESPONSE & ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT - SAFE HOUSE PROJECT WORKS TO HELPS CREATE ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT FOR SURVIVORS THROUGH EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES AND INTERNSHIPS THAT HELPS THEM LEARN NECESSARY SKILLS FOR THE LONG-TERM. SAFE HOUSE PROJECT ALSO PROVIDES EMERGENCY SERVICES UPON A SURVIVOR EXITING A TRAFFICKING SITUATION, INCLUDING EMERGENCY SHELTER, FOOD, CLOTHING, TRANSPORTATION, AND BASIC NECESSITIES, AS WELL AS PLACEMENT INTO A LONG-TERM SAFE HOUSE PROGRAM. TO DATE, SHP HAS SERVED 207 SURVIVORS.


GROWS A NATIONAL NETWORK OF SHELTER RESOURCES - SAFE HOUSE PROJECT PARTNERS WITH ORGANIZATIONS TO PROVIDED BOTH GIFT-IN-KIND AND SKILL BASED VOLUNTEERS TO OUR NETWORK ORGANIZATIONS (SHP RECEIVED APPROX. $11K IN GIFT IN KIND DONATIONS THAT WERE DISPERSED OUT TO OUR PARTNERS, WHICH IS NOT REPRESENTED IN THE INCOME OR EXPENSES FOR THIS PROGRAM).
