BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS OF RECONCILIATION FOR RESTORATIVE JUSTICE. WE FOCUS ON THE RESTORATION OF HEALTH, ENVIRONMENT, RECONCILIATION, AND EQUITY WITH NEIGHBORS IN NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA CITY.

RESTORE JOBS: THROUGHOUT 2021, OUR CLEANING TEAM THAT SERVES SINGLE-MOTHERS WAS ABLE TO EMPLOY MORE THAN 30 WOMEN THROUGH THE WELLSPRING CLEANING COMPANY. THEY CONTINUED TO BUILD ON THEIR 200% GROWTH IN 2020 BY ADDING MORE RESOURCES & PARTNERS SUCH AS HOMELESS ALLIANCE HOUSING NAVIGATOR, OKLAHOMA CITY COUNTY HEALTH & A SMALL BUSINESS ADVISOR TO HELP WOMEN STABILIZE HOLISTICALLY AND THEN BEGIN TO MOVE BACK TOWARD WHATEVER THEIR DREAM CAREER MIGHT BE OR HAVE BEEN BEFORE A LIFE EVENT CHANGED THEIR TRAJECTORY. GRADUATES HAVE MOVED INTO LEADERSHIP POSITIONS WITH EMPLOYER PARTNERS SUCH AS NORTHCARE, REMERGE, AND OKLAHOMA STATE.


RESTORE SCHOOLS: THE YEAR 2021 CONTINUED TO BE A WILD RIDE FOR SCHOOLS, STUDENTS & OUR TEAM FROM IMPACTS OF COVID. THE SCHOOLS WERE PARTLY VIRTUAL AND THEN PIVOTED BACK TO IN-PERSON SCHOOL. OUR DEDICATED TEAM OF VOLUNTEERS WERE ABLE TO SUPPORT AS PART OF "VIRTUAL CLASSROOM CARE TEAMSX AND SUPPORT OUR TEACHERS WITH A TEACHER WORKROOM TO SUPPORT THEM WHILE INTERACTIONS WITH STUDENTS WAS LIMITED. OUR VOLUNTEERS PROVIDED MORE THAN 2,700 HOURS WITH STUDENTS & TEACHERS THIS YEAR GIVING TEACHERS & KIDS BOTH CONTINUITY OF ANOTHER FACE WHO CARED! WE WERE ABLE TO PARTNER WITH A PARTNER TO PROVIDE THANKSGIVING DINNERS TO MORE THAN 400 FAMILIES & ARE CONTINUING TOWARD OUR GOAL OF SERVING SCHOOLS TOWARD TEACHER RETENTION & BUILDING GREAT SUPPORTS AROUND OUR SCHOOLS TO ENSURE EDUCATIONAL EQUITY.


RESTORE FARMS: THE FARM TEAM USED 2021 TO REALLY FOCUS ON THEIR PRODUCTION GOALS & SAFELY KEPT MORE THAN 15 HIGH SCHOOL INTERNS EMPLOYED THROUGHOUT COVID. THEY PRODUCED HUNDREDS OF POUNDS OF PRODUCE THAT THEY WERE ABLE TO SELL IN THE COMMUNITY-OWNED & LED GROCERY STORE, THE MARKET AT EASTPOINT, THAT THEY HELPED TO OPEN DURING A PANDEMIC. THE MARKET AT EASTPOINT OPENED EARLY 2021, & THESE RESTORE FARM INTERNS HAVE WON CITY & STATEWIDE AWARDS FOR THEIR EFFORTS AROUND FOOD JUSTICE & FOOD ACCESS FOR THEIR COMMUNITY WHEN IT WAS MOST NEEDED!
