SWEET DREAM MAKERS' MISSION IS TO IMPROVE THE HEALTH AND WELLNESS OF CHILDREN AND FAMILIES BY PROVIDING, BEDS, BEDDING AND ESSENTIAL FURNITURE. SWEET DREAM MAKERS PROVIDES NEW BEDS AT NO COST TO CHILDREN AND FAMILIES SLEEPING ON THE FLOOR, SHARING BEDS OR SLEEPING IN UNSAFE, UNSANITARY CONDITIONS. EACH CHILD GETS TO CHOOSE THEIR OWN BEDDING TO GO WITH THEIR NEW BED.

DURING THE PERIOD 1/1/21 12/31/21, SWEET DREAM MAKERS PROVIDED 2884 NEW BEDS AND BEDDING (INCLUDING A FEW LIKE-NEW BEDS) TO CHILDREN AND THEIR CAREGIVERS' AGES BIRTH THRU 19. FAMILIES IN GREAT NEED ARE REFERRED BY OVER 75 SOCIAL SERVICE AGENCIES IN PALM BEACH COUNTY. OUR SIGNATURE PROGRAM, A BED OF MY OWN IS GENEROUSLY SUPPORTED BY MONETARY CONTRIBUTIONS FROM APPROXIMATELY 1,296 DONORS IN 2021.ADDITIONALLY, IN 2021, OUR WAREHOUSE PROGRAM PROVIDED GENTLY USED ESSENTIAL FURNITURE AND HOUSEWARES FREE OF CHARGE TO OVER 200 FAMILIES WHO ALSO RECEIVED NEW BEDS. IN ORDER TO COLLECT ALL DONATIONS, SWEET DREAM MAKERS HAD CONTACT WITH OVER 125 IN-KIND FURNITURE AND HOUSEWARES DONORS IN THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WHO PARTICIPATED IN HELPING THOSE AMONG US WITH THE GREATEST NEED BY GENEROUSLY DONATING THEIR QUALITY, GENTLY USED FURNITURE AND HOUSEHOLD GOODS.
