THE MISSION OF JACKSON COUNTY CASA IS TO RECRUIT AND TRAIN COMMUNITYVOLUNTEERS TO ADVOCATE IN THE BEST INTEREST OF A CHILD IN THE YOUTH COURTSYSTEM DUE TO ABUSE AND NEGLECT. BASED ON THE BELIEF THAT CHILDREN AREENTITLED TO A SAFE AND PERMANENT HOME, CASA WORKS WITH THE COURT SYSTEMTHROUGH TRAINED VOLUNTEERS, IN COLLABORATION WITH INVOLVED AGENCIES, LEGALCOUNSEL, AND USING COMMUNITY RESOURCES TO SERVE AS A CHILD'S VOICE INCOURT. CASA STRIVES TO ENSURE THAT EACH CHILD IS PLACED IN A SAFEPERMANENT, LOVING, AND NURTURING HOME AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
