Describe the Organization's Program Activity:

Part 3 - Line 4a

CCFB SAW A DRAMATIC INCREASE IN NEED DURING 2019-2020 DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC. DUE TO GENEROUS SUPPORT, WE WERE ABLE TO INCREASE OUR PROGRAMS AND SERVICES TO PROVIDE FOOD TO APPROXIMATELY 350,000 NEIGHBORS EACH MONTH. AS A SAFETY PRECAUTION FOR VOLUNTEERS AND NEIGHBORS, MOST WALK-UP DISTRIBUTIONS WERE TRANSITIONED TO DRIVE THROUGH DISTRIBUTIONS WITH THE ABILITY TO ACCOMMODATE NEIGHBORS WITHOUT VEHICLES AS NEEDED. WE LAUNCHED NEW AND EXPANDED PROGRAMMING FOR SCHOOL CHILDREN, SENIORS AND HOME BOUND INDIVIDUALS. WE FOCUSED THE INFLUX OF RESOURCES ON EXPANDING OUR SERVICES TO UNDERSERVED COMMUNITIES AND PROVIDING COMPLETE AND COMPREHENSIVE MEALS. THROUGH THESE EFFORTS, WE WERE ABLE TO PROVIDE MORE THAN 43.5 MILLION POUNDS OF FOOD TO OUR NEIGHBORS IN FRESNO, MADERA, KINGS, TULARE AND KERN COUNTIES.
